Day 14

Think of a time when you said goodbye to someone who you wouldn’t see for a long time, if ever again. What did you say? How did they respond?

In John 14, Jesus begins to tell His followers goodbye. They are confused, however, as they don’t understand where He is going. Instead of lecturing them or berating them for their lack of clarity, Jesus gives them a message of comfort and love.

Allow that feeling of saying goodbye to a friend whom you may not see again wash over you as you read and contemplate this passage.

“And when I go and prepare a place for you …I will come again …and take you to myself …. That where I am…you may be also…..”….
(What comfort and peace ….I am His …He loves me so much…wants me….forgives me…am His child…me!!!!..I seek to KNOW Him more)

This is just such a wonderful study, I have been blessed each day. It is helping me to go deeper in my walk with Abba, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Thank you…

Thank GOD, someday I am going to be with HIM (Jesus Christ). Now realizing that HE is with me at this present time. I am a child of GOD and the temple of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord, that I am delivered from the power of sin as the Holy Spirit empowers me to say NO to temptation. A whole lesson could be spent on that topic. Thank you for these lessons.

I am enjoying these Bible study . They are not long and drawn out. They are inspiring . I’m Learning much more than trying to study on my own. Although I’m behind I have saved all the emails and going at my own pace. My sister and I were discussing about a mansion that she had a dream about. I explained to her that is in the bible. Her husband is Jewish and they tell me that they are still waiting on the Messiah. I can’t speak much of the bible to them as they get very upset with me. I’m Grateful to know that God loves us and is working on their hearts . Amen

God bless you all. Its been an ongoing experience, delving deeper into the gospel according to John. I seek to know more and be obedient to God’s will.

I don’t think of putting myself in the scriptures, like i was encouraged to today…”let not my heart be troubled…Jesus went to prepare a place for me…Jesus is my way to be with the Father….” it makes reading the scriptures more personal, and brings me more appreciation/gratitude for all God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost do for ME. Praise them and bless their holy Name.
