Day 13

Can you think of one trait that is distinct to your family? Maybe your family is all over 6 feet tall. Perhaps there’s a unique physical feature like bright red hair, a bulbous nose, or square chin that your family could easily pick out of a crowd.

In today’s video, we read about the one trait that distinguishes who is a follower of Jesus: loving each other.

As you read and pray through John 13:31-35, think about how that trait, loving others, is being shown or forgotten in your life.

Loved reading about loving others as Jesus loves. I know it is difficult at times. I try not to hold anything
against anyone for any reason.

Watching Jesus and His ability to forgive those who would wrong Him (Judas). Those would deny Him (Peter). As a pastor who has been wrongly treated (real or imagined) it is hard to forgive those people. This lesson is awesome and a reminder of who we are in Christ. Practice what I preach.

I loved being able to just ask God for His level of love, it’s more than I could ever ask for or dream of.
