Day 15
When we were kids, we learned all plants need sunlight, good soil, and water to grow and blossom.
An additional element to those 3 is the importance of airflow.
Whether it’s tomatoes on the vine or knockout rose bushes – air circulation can prevent fungus, bacteria, or molds. Pruning those plants to allow for better airflow can lead to an overall healthier plant and future growth.
In today’s reading from John 15, Jesus connects the process of pruning a plant to removing obstacles in our own lives that negatively affect our own spiritual connection to Jesus, the True Vine.

As I grow in Christ, I see that many things which I proudly took credit for was Jesus working His plan in me. His statement, “without me you can do nothing.” is so true in my life. Any and all accomplishments has been through Jesus Christ. Again, thank you for these lessons.
