The Voice, the new Bible translation from Thomas Nelson, Inc., the world’s largest Christian publisher, is joining with World Vision, the Christian humanitarian organization, to offer the chance of a lifetime to the grand prize winner of an exciting new sweepstakes: a World Vision trip to Africa. The sweepstakes, which kicks off on September 27, is part of an ongoing initiative by Thomas Nelson, Inc.’s God’s Word in Action program, and World Vision, to encourage people to “stand up for the poor and the orphan; advocate for the rights of the afflicted and those in need” (Psalm 82:3 – The Voice).
There are several ways for people to enter the sweepstakes online, through social media, and at Thomas Nelson retail partners:
Participants will have the chance to win one of ten prize packages. In addition to the trip to Africa, the Grand Prize package includes two hand-made Argentinian Leather editions of The Voice Bible, and twelve copies of The Voice New Testament to give away. Other prizes include a leathersoft edition of The Voice Bible, six copies of The Voice New Testament to give away, and one copy of Songs from The Voice CD.
“All of us at Thomas Nelson are excited about this new sweepstakes. Not only does it underline our commitment to helping people put God’s Word into action, but it has the potential to change lives through the grand prize trip to Africa,” says Blake Aldridge, senior director of marketing for the Thomas Nelson, Inc. Bible Group. “It’s also a way for Thomas Nelson to support our valued retail partners, by helping to draw people to their stores and websites.”
